I had a friend connect my new wireless router to my computer networking my new laptop.?

I already had vonage which uses a wired router. She hooked up my internet for both computers(shared connection) adding the wireless router and now my phone isnt working. Please advise.

Are u getting connected to the internet from both computers? if so then it means that your line is functional. however if it is DSL that you have then networking your pc would not have affect your phone u need to check to see if your phone is plugged
